A series of 8-input & 4-input SMPTE 259M standard routers for serial digital video I/O. The AS800 series routers provide automatic cable equalization, operation up to 540 Mb/sec and automatic recognition of PAL or NTSC serial digital video inputs. Direct access routing via front panel switches or control via optional RS485 remote control panels allowing routing control of a particular output channel from another location when the situation precludes the operator to be in the same location as the main unit.
