    Optimize analog video prior to digital recorder with VAC's DVRx - the ONLY product specifically designed to alleviate many common DVR recording problems. The DVRx-8 incorporates eight composite video channels in a 1U rack. Each channel features: 1X2 DA; differential input for ground loop mitigation; AC coupled input with automatic DC restore on each output; variable gain and variable EQ. VAC's DVRx-16 (PN 61-415-516) includes all the features of the DVRx-8, with 16 composite video channels in a 2U rack.
      DVRx -8 Features

    • Differential 75. video input on each input eliminates ground loop interference.
    • Adjustable Gain and EQ allows for signal optimization, even with significant cable losses
    • DC Restore circuitry provides correct DC voltage level to ensure outputs are DVR compatible.
    • AC Input Coupling accepts large DC offset on the input signal to accommodate most installations - even unusual combinations of hardware that result in an unacceptably high DC component.
    • 40 MHz bandwidth is more than sufficient for NTSC quality video
    • Low power consumption allows for passive cooling
    • -40C to +50C operating temperature range
    • IEC 320 power connector; operates from 120VAC.
    The DVRx-8 is designed for use in security camera systems (using composite baseband video) where ground loop mitigation and optimized signal levels are critical for proper DVR performance.

    The gain control allows the operator to set the two outputs for each channel to true NTSC (RS-170A) levels. The differential input circuit provides a high impedance path between the input ground and the output ground to mitigate ground loop interference. Adjustable EQ allows the operator to correct for high-frequency roll-off in long cable runs. The DC restore circuitry ensures 0 VDC offset on the output signal.
